Ways to Ruin Coffee #21

Drink instant coffee.

How to partially salvage a cup of instant coffee: spike it with brandy.

Granted, instant coffee is an easy way to make just one cup, and without mussing with a lot of other things to clean - all you need is a cup and a spoon. And I'm finding that instant coffee is handy to have around for baking and cooking. But you have to admit instant coffee is not terribly tasty.

  1. We've just bought a Keurig one-cup brewer. It's the easiest darn thing and is tasty. Might just be something you guys would want to look into.

    And another note, at least FoodGoat hasn't accidentally add breast milk to his coffee yet...

  3. I love this post. My roommate once dumped a guy because one morning she sent him out for coffee for the coffeemaker, she was thinking some Peets beans perhaps, and he came back with a TUB of Folgers. That huge red tub that to this day still exists in our freezer. I guess she even laughed at him when he did it, but she told me she didn't realize it was a test until he returned with the dreaded powdered stomach ulcer, as I lovingly call it.
    But brandy is a good call- in anything!
