You know, I just experienced this same awful experience. My cup of coffee ended up a dark stain in the snow. I tried the Ivory brand of dish soap "gentle on hands, tough on grease" and it was awful. It's residue stuck to the dishes and anything plastic tasted and smelled like soap, plus the overwhelming odour of it in the sink made you gag while doing dishes. Yikes!
